Michele Chiossi’s artistic research is an aesthetic reflection on contemporary society and its phenomena. The artist, who prefers sculpture as an expressive medium, creates his works using heterogeneous materials such as marble, aluminum, bronze, resins and urethane rubbers.
The zigzag trait, present in all his works, speaks to us of a fragmented man, who has lost the sense of natural rhythms, pressed by a hyper-technological world that knows only increasingly impending deadlines.
Michele Chiossi’s research tells the story of man’s life in the era of globalization through the symbols of commodification and consumerism.
