Mauro was born in Caserta in 1972 and lives and works in Bologna.
In his works, he is able to experiment with the use of “poor” extra-pictorial materials that enter into a dialectical relationship with the canonical ones. The playful-visionary approach makes a substrate of interesting ideas and valid passages between one world and another, between reality and fairy tale.
