Sandro’s photo are tales about a world that is falling-down: each shot in fact, tells about worn-out characters who, in a sudden black-out of mind and body, crash with no attempt to save themselves because tired of everyday life, too attentive to appearance and not to existence. This photo was taken during the days of his first international exhibition in Vlissingen (Holland) at the entrance to the hotel where they were staying. During the shooting the passers-by did nothing, didn’t come to help Sandro. They screamed only with laughter, as a disturbing sign of an increasingly indifferent society. There is a saying that tells Sandro’s concept “you have to hit the bottom to start over”.
